Fuller Counselling

“Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.”

Wayne W. Dyer

Therapy in a safe, comfortable setting

My name is Janine Fuller, and I provide transpersonal and integrative psychotherapy, sex and relationship therapy, personal development coaching, supervision and training in Woking, Epsom, and online. The service I provide is available on both a short-term and long-term basis to both individuals and couples. Many people struggle with their identity, unsure about their purpose and who they really are, and I am here to help you answer this question and reach a place of greater clarity. My practice is a place for you to safely examine your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, with me walking alongside you as we examine what is preventing you from leading a vibrant, fulfilled life.

My Approach

After nearly 20 years of working with clients, I know that every individual is unique, so I always take care to draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches to identify the best way of working with you and addressing your needs. Most of our work together will involve talking therapy, although some of my clients prefer to use creative methods as a means for communicating their thoughts and emotions, such as working with Jungian archetypal images, drawings, imagery, dreams, bodywork, sand trays, or visualisation. We will take time to understand what works for you and devise a personalised therapeutic roadmap that helps you examine your life and make new, meaningful choices within it.

Issues I Help With

I practice as a psychotherapist in Woking, Epsom, and online and also provide walk and talk therapy. I have helped clients explore a broad spectrum of issues and life circumstances, which include but are not limited to:

  • Life transitions
  • Anxiety
  • Addiction
  • Stress
  • Abuse
  • Overeating
  • Bereavement and general loss
  • Low self-esteem
  • Finding purpose in life
  • Divorce/separation

For more information on how I can help with these issues, take a look at my Individual Counselling page.

Sex and Relationship Counselling

On average it takes 7 years before couples reach out for help about problems regarding their relationship and sex life. My practice is a safe and confidential space for people to engage with these issues and reach a better place. We will work together in an atmosphere of compassion and curiosity, learning what lies behind the problem you are facing and developing a way of moving past it that is tailored to you. Want to know more about my psychotherapy for sex and relationships? If so, see my Sex Therapy page.

Personal Development Coaching

My personal development work is all about helping you to identify your qualities, skills, and abilities, setting goals that you wish to achieve, and then devising a plan around how to reach those goals, ahead of tracking your achievements through realistic steps on a periodic basis. This is an opportunity for us to explore who you are and understand what you wish to get out of life.

Take a look at my Personal Development page to learn more.

Supervision and Training

I provide integrative, transpersonal, and psychosexual supervision to both trainees and established practitioners. I also provide bespoke training days and CPDs to groups.

Zoom

Most of my work is provided online via Zoom, which I have provided since 2012. There are many benefits to working online, such as:

  • Home comfort
  • Reduction in travel time
  • No travel expenses
  • No childcare expenses
  • Couples can attend from two different locations
  • Assistance with mobility issues
  • Difficulty with accessing services due to remote living location
  • Client can see a remote therapist anywhere in the country

Location

I offer face-to-face counselling from two locations – in Old Woking and the Surrey Centre, Epsom and I also see clients with walk and talk. I work online via Zoom with both British and international clients. Working with international clients is subject to prior approval with my insurance provider.

I also work for a range of Healthcare providers such as BUPA, AXA, and Vitality. Please contact me directly about this.

Walk & Talk Therapy

Walk and talk therapy is also available, which we do in Horton Country Park or along the River Wey in Old Woking. This is a wonderful alternative way of speaking to clients that I have practiced for a number of years. Many clients prefer this type of therapy, as being outside amongst nature loosens up thoughts and feelings, generates a new perspective and greater connection to something bigger and older than yourself, making it easier to move forward. People often find it easier to open up in this outdoor space, compared to the constraints of a private practice room.
